Let the music play…PLEASE!!!

Calling all helpers! I don’t even thing you must be that technologically inclined…I am so very behind the curve of MP3 and playlists and whatnot!
I have recently put most of my zillion cds into my computer in Windows mediaplayer…I would use itunes which I also have along with the genius whatever that creates your playlists for you, but as far as I can tell, these two don’t play nice together… so what’s a girl to do. It has taken years(not kidding) to even get this far and I surely will give up if I have to create the playlists myself. Oh that I was in middle school again for if only a few hours I’d probably love the technology as “making tapes” was quite fun…no time or desire for such. I want a brilliant program to pluck through all my “stuff” and put together a masterful mix I would never have thought of…I tried The Filter and it just keeps loading the catalog which means I think I have too many music files for it to handle! Would LOVE to hear easy solutions:)
